Mechanism of Action

In Aplastic Anemia, T-lymphocytes in body are potent of in causing immune reaction. Due to abnormal interaction between T-cells and Antigen Presenting Cells (APC), the normal T-cells expands and which causes clonal expansion. Antigen Presenting Cells (APC) teaches T cells on where to attack, due to abnormal interaction between T Cells and APC, T Cells attack Hematopoietic stem cells (these cells give birth to Red blood cells, White blood cells and platelets). This results in fall in number of Red blood cells, White blood cells and platelets. This condition is known as "Pancytopenia".

Thymogam suppresses action of T lymphocytes which helps Hematopoietic stem cells to restore its normal function and normal blood cell count is restored.
